DECAF is a brand of JAVA, and the name derives from this combination.              JAVA is one of the islands of the Greater Sunda Islands in Indonesia and was the first place where Indonesian coffee was grown, starting in 1699 and it is precisely from this that the name DECAF comes from, from coffee!
Our technicians work in very close contact with Italian design in a creative process that generates high quality product, therefore the name DECAF derives from an Indonesian production and an Italian cult, trying to create this combination that encompasses both thoughts.
The cult of coffee has Italian origins. Every self-respecting Italian starts the day with a steaming cup of coffee, whether at home or at the bar, alone or in company. The coffee break marks the rhythms of the day: as soon as you wake up, mid-morning, after lunch, mid-afternoon, after dinner.
One of the most iconic Italian coffees is decaffeinated coffee and therefore DECAF is precisely the abbreviation of this word.

                DECAF was established in 2014 in ShenZhen (China), and from the first day it keep innovating and specializing in design and technology in the world of cycling components.
                   This process is possible thanks to a strong collaboration with Albertdesign, an Italian design studio composed by designers and communication experts that give personality to the products.

                   DECAF, in conceiving its products, be they wheels, brakes or transmission components, always starts from the assumption that all are, first of all, safety organs rather than performance tools.
                   DECAF, together with Albertdesign, designs, develops and manufactures solutions for road cycling and gravel. All products aimed at optimizing the cyclist's performance in all conditions.
